Announcing $1.7 Million in Interest Rebates Distributed to Members
Marianna, FL—With $8 million in interest rebates distributed in 2018, Farm Credit of Northwest Florida is starting 2019 off strong with another retirement of 2003 & 2004 patronage totaling $1.7 Million. The Farm Credit of Northwest Florida Board of Directors worked diligently to distribute an early patronage from past earnings due to the devastation of Hurricane Michael. “We understand that recovering from a natural disaster, such as Hurricane Michael, takes resources and time” states Chairman of the Board of Directors, Richard Terry.
“We are proud to be one of the few financial institutions that reward our customer-owners for their membership and loyalty by returning a portion of the Association’s earnings back to the customers,” says CEO Rick Bitner, CEO/President of Farm Credit of Northwest Florida. “Since January 2018, our Association has been able to distribute over $9 million in cash to our members.”
