2023 AgVocator Scholarship Recipient
We are excited to honor the 2023 AgVocator Scholarship recipient, Jessica Conti from Molino, FL. She will be receiving a $12,000 scholarship to assist with the remainder of her educational journey and completing a paid internship with Farm Credit of Northwest Florida.
Jessica is currently a Junior at Mississippi State University majoring in Agriculture Education Leadership and Communications with an endorsement in Special Education. She was actively involved in FFA and received her Greenhand, State and American Degree. Jessica received highest individual in 4-H Meat Judging at the American Royal in 2020. Upon graduation, she plans to use her degree to become an agricultural educator and work to provide opportunities in special education about livestock, gardening and other hands-on activities.
“Jessica Conti has demonstrated exceptional commitment to academics, leadership and is already doing great things within agriculture. We look forward to her future, knowing that she will positively impact her rural community,” states Levi Findley, Chairperson of the Young, Beginning, Small Farmer Advisory Committee. “We encourage all high school seniors, college freshmen and sophomores pursing a degree in agriculture to apply for the 2024 AgVocator Scholarship program later this year.”
