Art, Garden and Farm Family Festival

Once the weather has cooled and the flowers are in bloom,  join us for a day filled with an exciting array of plants, flowers, organic produce, and arts and crafts will be for sale by local and regional garden groups, artists and nurseries. A "Kid Zone" will feature face-painting, creating bird feeders from pinecones, pumpkin painting, weaving a giant spider web, and painting personal canvases.  NFREC will also host a "Pumpkin Patch" where children can walk through the field to choose their very own pumpkins, fresh from the vine. Take a stroll through the Gardens, a trolley tour highlighting fruits and nuts, or visit the cattle pavilion to learn about the latest UF research on animal nutrition and reproduction.

A Healthy Table Cooking School, ‘Takes on the South’ in this year’s event!  Join us for dinner and culinary presentation performed by Marianna High School culinary arts students.
